CB750 / Re: Neutral switch disassembly
« on: March 10, 2024, 12:01:27 PM »
I decided to give it a try myself. I applied some heat from a heatgun untill the "laquer"started to bubble. With special tool I made with a 3D-printer I was able to unscrew the non-conducting part.

Happy with the result. Now i have to do some research as to find a suitable locking agent. Maybe a medium treadlocker...

Does anyone have experience with disassembling a neutral switch? I would like to zinc plate the steel parts. The non-conducting middle part seems to be locked in place with some kind of laquer.

I would like a breast enlargement she said.
Take some toilet paper and rub it into your cleavage he said.
Does that really work she wonders?
At least it worked well on your bum, he noted delicately.

Definately a game changer imho. The pipes on my 500 are ok and not due for a replacement and more importantly .... original. Wonder what prices are on the continent.

Quite impressive plating you've got going there!
I think i have to give it a go myself because my local plater doesn't take new orders soon. Too busy.
