That would be a good price IF the spares that come without are items such as the original headlight, clocks etc. It would still require a lot of work and money to bring it up to the same condition as the one on eBay. Appears to have the plastic rear mudguard and no front mudguard at all. Not bad as a basis for a cafe racer or suchlike though but you'd want to hear the engine running before shelling out £1200.

CB500/550 / 550f master cylinder

While replacing the standard bars with clip ons I've found as i suspected that the master cylinder gets on the way, can anyone recommend a modern replacement that may fir and have the same piston bore? Lots of cheap gsxr and ninja ones on Ebay

Took the CB550 out today for a 25 mile loop.
Pictures were taken in the exact spot the camera man was on a iconic Rainier Beer Commercial in 1978 with a 1978 CB750K8.

great memories from my childhood. nearly impossible to round the corner without  mimicking the commercial.
