Title: Mystery Side Panels
Post by: philward on January 11, 2018, 09:59:32 PM
Anybody know what these side panels are off - they came with a set of K2 - K6 side panels I bought as spares last year. The are obviously repo but although new, as you can see, they have holes drilled where the lugs would be - maybe drilled by previous owner to
use bolts through frame lug holes?

They are actually intended for a Honda cb 750 k1 - k6.
They are replica covers. Not very good ones but that was what you could buy in the 80s and 90s...

What thew me was the extended lugs where the holes for the mountings are mean they would line up with the frame - above the lug mounting holes - as per this pic on ebay for coparison. never thought to compare them with my K2 because they look so different.
