Its been a while, so many projects but finally got the last of the niggles sorted and felt confident for a run up the road and brought to work today!! , Will remove tank and rear guard ready for paint this evening and we should have a finished bike. The Delkevic at 9k sounds lovely.. but nice and quiet at 5k in 6th , gear change smooth.. battery charging nicely - felt so light compared to the Ducati!

Very nice, must have been a great feeling..............where's the number plate ?
-
Thanks Julie, yes it felt great and is parked right out my window at work today..! Number plate is now on.. I hadnt fitted when I took the photo as outside the house.. but sits neatly to the left of the chain on a little bracket.

Looking good, glad it all works okay, and the added bonus it will be far more reliable than a ducati, and cheaper/easier to service and look after!

Very nice looking bike, well done. Post some photos following the repaint, it will be good to see the finished article :)

Nice looking bike is that. I like the rear lights. How does the stop/tail work? I'm interested in anything electronical.
-
is it on ebay?
-
Ha yes its on ebay.. just to gauge interest.. ! Moving house and my sons racing has prompted me to test the water regrettably!
The rear light is from a Triumph 675.. I cut it down to 1/3rd size and it fitted pretty well!

Exciting day.. tank is finished.. just need to add the pin stripes and decals!!
Almost done! Leaky carbs sorted.. float heights checked, new seals as the new ones had gone brittle so I suspect the problem along with some dodgy cheap fuel line I hadnt replaced!
