.... and clean the center stand.
-
Maybe somebody here takes pity with him and the bike and sends a new center stand spring.
-
I can't understand why people pay Sliver to see that shite when, you can walk round the DK show room for free ;D ;D ;D
-
I don't think we should be picking holes in that silencer, looks like there are enough holes anyway! ;D ;D ;D ;D

That's not a great advert for the quality of their work. I hope the ones they sold were better than that. :-[

And "Blued" single skin headers. Or "Browned" in this case. ;D

It's got those awful American
indicators turn signals

Thats the same as the 400 four in the Glasgow Transport museum, its been there for years but unfortunately the silencer is rotting and they put all the bikes on a stupid wall when they moved to the new (Smaller ) building a few years ago.

Totally a different 400, the one at Slivers is a USA unit ;)
-
Its been in the Glasgow Museum since I had mine in 1981.
-
At least now we know what museum quality is the next time we see it in a ad. :-\
-
Like reducing my collection, in other words getting rid of some scrap to make space.
-
Or 99% complete. Only 70,000 parts on a bike, so not that many missing ???
-
Is it a non restored example?

I didnt mean it was the same model of bike I meant it had a duff silencer with sitting about Ive never really taken that much notice of the differences from different countries, I thought they were all Japanese.
-
The difference is: in that museum the exhaust rotted with the time but at DS he put a a bike with a rotted exhaust into the museum.
-
thats true I remember viewing the 400 four in the old Glasgow transport museum about 1981.
-
This is what mine looks like after being stood in POs garage for 10 years. Apparently like new when it went in there.
-
Unfortunately unlike the old 2 strokes full of oil they rot from the inside out by the look of it.
