Title: Torque wrench recommendations?
Post by: Underdog1 on March 01, 2017, 01:35:25 PM
Anyone got any recommendations for some good torque wrench brands for me to look at? I've got a cheapdraper one currently and it's mega hard to feel the click sometimes which results in overtightening things

Britool if you want a pro tool (Ask graham he swears by his). Or Halfords do a very good one...

Not sure about the new Britool torque bars, a good second hand one is a good buy. A AVT300A will do all the jobs you require on a SOHC engine.

I have two Norbar wrenches that have always served me well.
The smaller one of the two is fine for bikes.

Ended up going for a Halfords professional 3/8 drive. Has the biggest range out of all of them (8-60nm) and there are new ones going for £60 delivered on ebay
