Hi there,
Has anyone used the carb kits on ebay from cruzinimage_uk - here? (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251745524435?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251745524435?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT (http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/251745524435?_trksid=p2055119.m1438.l2649&ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT)
I need to clean and rebuild a set of carbs and these seem affordable compared to other websites, but are they any good?
All input welcome,
Cheers,
Frisky

Fitted those to loads of carbs without any problem. James always has a problem but, he is heavy handed when it comes to delicate parts.

Be aware the price can nearly double by the time you get them to your door if customs check the package. Import duty on the purchase price over £15.00 per parcel, then V.A.T. on the purchase price, import duty AND the postage charge, then on top of that Royal Mail stick a handling charge on top of that (about £12) You may get lucky and it slips through unnoticed, but be prepared to be robbed blind if it doesn't :(:(
-
With P&P, Vat, Import duty and the Royal Mail high jacking charge it is still 27% cheaper then the well known Honda parts supplier in the UK.

I have had 4 lots of deliveries from cruizinimage, but never an extra charge and very quick ;D

Don't doubt that Trig, but you've got to factor in the postal time and delays, plus if anything is wrong/damaged/missing it can take ages to get things sorted. Depends how urgently the bits are needed I suppose.:))

Thanks for all the replies chaps - all very informative.
I suppose at the end of the day, you get what you pay for. I'll maybe take a risk with this one though as I am not in a great hurry now its snowing and they do seem like comprehensive kits.
Thanks again,
Frisky

Got my big bore kit from cruzin and what a fantastic curtious service they gave.

I had ordered one of these kits on 5th December, then saw this post. My kit has arrived today (11th) with no surcharges or anything. I've had orders from within the UK tale longer. All looks fine to me, now need to fit it.

Hi Chris,
That's encouraging news!
Fiddly little things, the carbs eh?
Good luck, let me know how you get on with the bits
