It looks very nice.  What did you do to increase the engine power?
Cr26 carbs / Yoshi 460 kit & a little skimming and a lot of fettling ;)

Greetings fellow Honda fans. Hope everyone is well.

I've stalked and lurked on here for ages, Finally got round to writing up what I've tinkered with.

It started out as a little bit of fun, I went to Cadwell Park for the international meeting 3 years ago i think it was.
There was a George Beal Honda 6 replica there, Along with all the other iconic race bikes. This really set the wheels in motion.

I really wanted something cool to ride about on and just generally play with, So i sourced the project, Luckily there was a race bike that was nestled away in the back of a gentleman's shed, After a little negotiating, We brought her home!

Then the fun started, Stripped down and removed the bits i didn't require.

Just a few pics of the progress.

I shudder to think what i have spent on it up to now, However i'm pleased with it, There is still some things that i want to change on it before i feel like its complete.

I recently had it on the dyno, A cheeky 49.8 Bhp. Which i'm pleased with, Still needs a little more jetting though.

I do have a clip of it running and on the dyno. I'll try and post them next.

D&M Engineering do a nice one, I've had one off Dave.
I've also had another one off Davies Motorsport. John's is equally as good. Both have their differences, Depends what style you like.

Both are reasonably priced too!

CB650 / CB650 Intake/Insulator dimensions-----HELP?
« on: February 08, 2018, 04:04:04 AM »
Howdy!

Looking for info ideally. Its part of an ongoing project.

What are the dimensions of
1 - Hole centres between the two off mounting holes.
2 - Throat diameter of the intake.

Are there any variants in the years?
If so what are the dimension changes.

Many thanks in advance,

Tom

Greetings fellow SOHCers

Hope all is well.

I don't suppose anyone has the "Shop Manual" for a CB500, As there is a CB400 one - In the Aladdin's cave.
I've downloaded and printed off the CB400 one (Free paper/printing at work) to take home and read as a little bit of bed time reading.

Many thanks in advance,
