Hi Mike,

It's 25 years old, be aware of everything  , seriously though the CB750 is a great bike, with great performance even if handling is a little tired.

Watch out for worn wheel bearings, Very noisy cam chain, sticky brake pistons, wear and pitting on the forks.

Look nice enough, but worth 2K, I don't know, but I'm a tight git.

Keep us posted on your decision.

Mike. Frank's bikes (M/c Unlimited) are top dollar and don't move very fast - he doesn't seem to care.  If you really want a K7 there are a couple on eBay right now for less than half that price.
If you are serious about it, wait awhile and I'll try and get the inside line on the bike.

If you let me know what you are looking for I have a mate with 7 or 8 750's who needs some space in his garage!
