Title: Removing the rocker shafts 400/4
Post by: McCabe-Thiele (Ted) on November 18, 2020, 03:55:58 PM
My manual states a suitable 10 mm should be used to withdraw the rocker shafts.

Firstly are all 10mm bolts the same thread or is there a fine & coarse option? I have as yet to buy a selection of useful metric bolts so any suggestion as to suitable length is welcome.

I've removed the first on by putting a close sized bolt in the hole and pushing it to one side so the threads touch - it pulled out with no effort!
