Just wondering if anybody has any info on this, i have one in for restoration and am missing some parts for the low tension magneto and surface carb .
Anybody live near the Birmingham Museum that could see if they have any on display? and take some pics for me. longshot i know.

Depends how desperate for pics you are, i am about 60 miles from NEC/NMM but done know if they have one.

No rush as i have plenty to do on it. i don't mind covering your costs etc if you are in the area. maybe you could give them a call to see if they have one. there was also a 3 wheeler, same engine i believe.

Why don't you email them and ask for information and pics. If they don't have one on display they might have one in storage. They have a lot more than they can display. They also have a huge library of manuals and technical publications.

Interesting bike, as mentioned too that's quite a rear wheel construction for that era.
Anyone notice that we are virtually repeating that era of motorized bicycle right now with so many electric powered/assisted construction being used currently, many with hub motors in this orientation.

cast rear wheel, composite construction......for its time...that was pretty advanced stuff.
Accomodating a hub motor.
I'd buy one today with a modern motor running an alternative power source.

OK,
so after a few calls, I've arranged to go early and see that Rick Parkington from Classic Bike magazine for some info. i couldn't get hold of any of the boys from the museum as they were setting up for tmrw and dead busy but I'l see what I can find out tomorrow. I'm still not sure if they even have one yet but I'll get back to you.
