Title: Plastic throttle tube.
Post by: Johnny4428 on December 21, 2021, 11:45:13 AM
Quick question! Lube or no lube? Maybe a little on the cable end but not on the bars? I’ve not had any bother in the past but just wondered about the correct or recommended application.

I've always put a smear of light oil on the bar, not sure if it's necessary, but never caused a problem.

Always lube the bars myself. Usually silicon grease or oil.

I used Silicone Spray lubricant after thorough cleaning.

I use silicone spray instead of grease on my garage door mechanism as it does seem to attract the dirt & clog like normal oils & grease.
