Had both UK model 750 K2's side by side briefly yesterday.
The 73 model red one was back for it's 500 mile 1st service and the 72 gold one was waiting to be collected by her new owner.
Also had a visit from a friend and his wife on his UK 750 K0 later in the day, which was lovely to see

That photo transported back to the early 70’s when I was in the juniors and wanted a shiny motorcycle when I grew up 🙂

What a great photo, they look grand
Cheers

Yeh, when I grow up I want one of them!
Lovely those are Julie.

No mirrors?

No mirrors?
No Ken. Red one arrived in a van so had mirrors taken off for transport and Gold one was collected in a van, so taken off ready for loading.
-
Ahh, that would explain it, I doubt I'd be comfortable riding a bike with no mirrors, I like to keep an eye out behind me for Police and nutters mainly.
-
Can’t ride without mirrors, bit like gloves……….nope!

Beautiful bikes, absolute credit to the work you've put into them.
Lucky owners, must be very pleased. I always feel they are, the 750, the most pivotal in bike design. Many argue, but these did completely shift attitude and made literally everyone think differently. Not often do you get a product that truly does that.

I would argue that the 750 looks like the wife after she's turned fat and dumpy and the 500 is the wife you married, slim and sexy ;D ;D ;D ;D ;D

Are the heat shields on the silencers a standard 750 feature Julie?

Yes Ted, standard on all 750/4's but they are a seperate parts that come with fitting kits.

Both lovely looking bikes. I Wouldn’t turn either down as a gift, but probably prefer the gold one.
-
Iconic! Without a doubt. And great fun!
-
Fantastic looking bikes Julie - prefer the Red. Must put my spare Red tank/side panels on my K2!
-
Beautiful bikes. The red one looks really classy. 👍

Both colours look great - being a bloke I would go for the nice red one. :P :P :P
