Title: D.I.D Gold chain for CB750 K7
Post by: AJ WATKIN on June 16, 2023, 09:23:44 PM
Hi everyone . I’m after a DID gold chain for a CB750 k7. Please can someone send me a link to one that would fit?

I’ve found some that claim to fit the K0-K6’s. Not sure if it would fit my K7

Thanks

Standard fitment should be a "630" sized chain (only K7 and F2 had this larger size) with the previous Ks all using smaller size.

You'll need to count the pins on existing to add with the 630 specification to get the right one.

This can be good research info… http://honda750expert.com/

See sections 11 & 14… there could be more, it’s endless!

Cut and paste suggests… 1977-78:  #630 o-ring chain, 88 links, though I guess this assumes OEM spec sprockets.

AJ… just a caveat wrt that site - it is very much aligned to US Spec CB750s, meaning that in some areas (tho’ generally cosmetic I think), it might be inaccurate if your bike a UK machine.
