Title: Tank stripe decal
Post by: Fourthegoodtimes on September 20, 2012, 08:42:43 PM: Hi, I am getting ready to have the tank and side panels resprayed this autumn. I thought I had seen the two stripe white tank side decals on David Silvers site, but now no sign of them. I emailed them and they said they cannot help with this :-[......so did I dream it? Anyway now have the problem of what to do. Any of the sages on here have any suggestions? :)

They don't list the stripes on their website but if you email or ring them they should be able to sort you out. Whichever you get they will need clear lacquering.

In the course of my inquiries it appears that " Sunrise " have had a David Silver experience with Hondas legal team and are currently declining anything to do with big H graphics. :(

It was on the swing arm and if you want i can take a picture of the one on my import and post it.

Post by: z1100r on September 28, 2012, 08:17:59 AM: I did mine by hand with some white lining tape. Pretty easy really. I was going to do a template from the original but in the end I just did it off pics and following the lines of the tank. Tape was really cheap, Stripes applied before laquoring.
