Hi... Would anyone know the size of the two aluminium crush washers sealing the oil lines to the oil tank. They're not noted as a part in the parts catalogue so looking to see if I can source elsewhere.
Bike is a CB750f (1975).

Not me Harold... I'm in Saddleworth. Which kinda leads to me to a question.
I've seen a few of photos on here around the Holmfirth, Greenfield area. So Just wondering if any one wants to meet for a coffee anywhere in the area when they're next out and about on their bike??

Thought I'd up-date this thread. Just spent a couple of days trying to sort the original horn on my 750F... Last resort was boiling. Wish I tried this first off. Works like a treat now. I dried it out for twenty minutes in a fan oven at a low temp and sprayed everything with WD40 before reinstallation... boom!
Who'd a thought!

Hi... another daft question.
I thought I was okay with oil changes on a CB750 but it seems I may have been doing it incorrectly. Should I use the kick start to turn the engine over a few times to clear the remnants of any remaining oil. Is that recommended? Just wondered because I thought that would mean you'd have to prime the oil pump again???
I've always just drained the tank, "sump" and changed the filter

Thanks Rob. Yep... it is one of those, 1.25 pitch. I used a partially threaded bolt, tightened to the shoulder of the the unthreaded section... It won't pass through the shocker mounting bracket... doh!
Appreciate the advice but I've a side mounted no. plate so the bolt needs an extra 5mm length... I'll keep an eye on it.

A quick question regarding the mounting bolts fixing the rear shock to the swing arm on a CB750f Supersport. I've tried 1.0, 1.25 and 1.5 pitch thread and none have fitted though the 1.25 nearly did but tightened up (finger tight) before it was fully home. I'm using a slightly longer bolt for one reason and another or I'd be using the original...

My f1 has Keihin round top carbs. Number two carb isn't fixed.
I adjusted mine using a carbtune balance and it was mint. As you adjust carbs and the revs increase (or decrease) just adjust using the single screw on right side of lifting mechanism to bring it back into line.

HEL standard rear hose CB750F supersport didn't fit. annoying but they were great got refunded no problem... Had to make a set up. front hoses are shorter than standard as I've got clip on's and no steel pipe, hose goes directly into the front calliper.
I went direct to HEL, customer service was great or at least it was for me. My one recommendation is to draw a schematic so the get the connections orientated correctly.

I think it's going to be trial and error, I don't have the original air box... so I'll try the 58 and 68 pilot jets and try and set tick-over...
I set the floats when I cleaned and refurbed the carbs...

Hi Pete,
Apologies... Its a CB750F Supersport 1976 US import.
it came with 135's main jets
Ive upped the pilot jets to 48's

oh... and the bikes got ramair pods that replace cheap Chinese pods which were on the bike as well as a 4 into 1 straight through exhaust also inherited...
