I would use any filler suitable for ally, did the bottoms on my VFR just wanted to cheer them up without to much fuss brushed on silver hamerite flatted then another coat and flatted again ended with 2000 grit could not believe the finish I ended up with look
almost new and all from what was already in the shed. Cheers Tom.

Hi all, Its in the back of my mind to pos sell my Seeley which is I would say is at least 95% what it should be, I know this is a very rare bike but am also of the opinion things are only worth what people are willing to pay. I wonder is there anybody out there has an idea what it may be worth and how would be the best way to sell it.
Please I am not sure if I will sell just can't make up my mind so mulling it over.

Thanks to all, Just got home out of van and into shed [ bit p****d off with little niggles on bike ] disconnected switch neutral light out/ short to earth works ok. Put multimeter on switch to ground seems to work ok through gears. Will take off sprocket cover ,a real fooker of a job on Seeley frame and check lead a bit further tomorrow and let you know progress.
Thanks Bitsa for offer of switch but have a couple on shelf in fact thinking of sorting some bits out and getting shut been collecting for years so 750 stuff poking out of every draw even have a nearly new motad exhaust system hanging from roof.
Been thinking hard this last week or 2 may even sell Seeley have done over 1,000 miles this month on VFR and fancy a GS
riding is what I enjoy most maybe spent to much time in shed.

Just a quick one, took out 750 yesterday neutral light came on permanent, looks to be as bright as normal, when home tried it with engine not running seems to work fine. Working tomorrow so thought I would ask if anyone has any ideas will then check it out on Sunday just hope its not an earth fault. Also have a slight oil leak on oilway plug right hand side where people fit oil pressure gauge not had one out before is it fitted with o ring? Cheers in advance Tom.

I can see the attraction of the freedom feel and again its down to the choice of the individual but have just returned from a 700m
road trip, on the ride had quite a few front and rear slides and must admit feel safer with all the kit on if not a bit warm at times.

Well Pete, The choice is as you say yours. I must be honest back in the 70's and 80's have ridden in jeans and tee shirt have even rode a mad sunday at the TT. But Having had the odd off over the years I would no longer ride without leathers especially gloves and would not allow anyone on back without the right gear.
Enjoy the sun did a quick 50 miles today can't beat it  ;D ;D ;D 8)

Cheers lads would like to put some Borani type rims on at some point. Yes exhaust sounds like a harrier jump jet when you open her up was meant to be temporary but I like looks and sound. Just made new ally chain guard fitted but not polished yet really pleased. need a wider front fender [ fibre glass or plastic ] if anyone knows where to source one?
