I'm no expert Dave but I'd be looking for a new one if it was me but like I say, I'm no expert. Thats quite excessive in my book but somebody should be along soon with a bit of 'better earnt knowledge'.

A great read of your progress write up Ian, great piccies too. That cam cover is mint on the inside isnt it, a top purchase that one I reckon, well done.

If you do get a new exhaust for yours and want to  shift your headers on, give us first dibs, I might be interested in those depending on how mine turn out at the coaters. Great build In, well done mate, she looks great. :)

Morning folks,

I'd managed to forget to organise some jets for the bike and as I've not had to buy any for the last 15 years, (last LC ownership) could anybody point me in the right direction as to where I might procure some?

I'm after a set of pilots and mains and going form others in my situation with these air boxes I read that a good starting point will be  40 on pilot  and 110 on mains, could anybdy suggest a good source to order some from?

Thanks in advance

Aaaah, thought you were on with another one. Mine was supposed to be blue originally but even after 12 layers of paint I never did find any….
Although layer 4 might have been the original looking at the photo again…..

My crap spelling again, not sure what a lumo is!

Cheers Steve, I went over to the industrial estate yesterday and managed to blag a chunk from PCworld on recommendation from o E if the chaps on here. I’m going to start to trim it up this arvo on the bandsaw and see if I can get a tidy result.  Bloody good shout though, hadn’t thought of that!

Does that make it steer really vauguely when loaded up? It sits really far back on the back of that, surely it lightens the steering heaps with any weight in your boxes?   I can sling some fair weight on the VFR but have to jack the back up on the adjustment or it feels like the front wheels in the air, surely it must feel similar on that or does it ride OK?

Not a critisism, just an observation after selling hundreds of fitting kits and pannier sets over the years at various City branches when I was there it became clear that some bikes simply wouldnt accept a universal fitting kit but never seen one on a 750,.

That looks well Phil, was that a Menno job or local 'brown' supplier?

Phil (s), Ian et al, cheers all. That Alans electrics is the only place I've ever seen them for sale, a great link and one stashed for further use, nice one.
I managed to blag a good lumo from PC world so I'll have a go at chopping that up later on the bandsaw.

Thanks chaps for all the help
