Found one. Not in the greatest condition, a little rusty but still fine.
I'll send it down to you Friday, I should still have your address.
Absolutely brilliant! Thanks Oddjob

Good day folks,
I'm in need of the now discontinued part 22815-283-000 spring. I've Googled and no joy. Has anyone got one I could buy? If not, is there a known alternative or workaround?
Cheers, JB

Cheers guys. My mate, an electric/electronics whizz, is going to have a look at it and see what can be done with the one I’ve got.

Here's what I've got. Tip of the screwdriver is where the wire is broken.

Good day folks,
My stator is in need of repair. One of the yellow 3 phase wires has snapped off and wiring is generally stiff and aged. Can you recommend someone who can fix it for me? It's from a CB500 K1
Cheers, JB

The part on ebay the Sye posted a link to is one of my eBay listings. If you're interested, PM me and I will give you a discount and do post at cost as I won't have yo pay ebay charges.
Thanks for the offer Julie, but your item is far too nice for my project. I’ve found a rusty one that I’ll blast and powder coat. On the subject of removing casting marks, I do. I filed all the casting marks off the R6 fork lowers and triple clamp before they were powder coated. I don’t like parts to look like a sucked boiled sweet, just tidied up. Which reminds me, I should start a post in the Project section

Good evening folks,
As my CB500K1 came in pieces, in boxes, I’ve got a couple of things missing. I’m missing the rear brake actuator arm and kickstart lever. Are these parts common across a few Hondas of the era? If so, which ones? So I can start looking.
Cheers, JB

No surprises. I took part in Goblin Works Garage once and the whole thing was scripted and staged from start to finish. But it does make entertaining TV!

Good afternoon folks,
Gradually getting all the parts I need to rebuild my engine. When I bought the bike it was already disassembled, including the engine. I've been through all the bits and can't find the tranny bearing retainer half rings, part numbers 13491283000 & 13492283000. I can get the latter item from CMS but the other item is no longer available.
Are these available anywhere? If not, is there a known solution?
Cheers, JB
