It would seem so LOL.

Passed my theory, and did my CBT today. Will get a date for my module 1 tomorrow.

Being out on the road was nice, after 10 mins it felt the same as it did when i used to ride.

Pretty confident about my tests now.

Good idea on the seat, the F seat i have, along with all the rear end, but if a K seat will fit then that would be easier.

It did have a yellow plate, not sure if its still around, but its not worth the grief running the wrong plate so it'l be changed before it see's the road.

I guess ill see how it goes.
Get used to it as it is, then swap back and see how that feels.

Never carried a pillion before, if i dont like it ill swap back to this seat.

Heres some more pics.

The only thing that slightly concerns me is 2 headers have discoloured quicker.
Its probably only done 50 miles on that exhaust. It suggests to me that those 2 cylinders are running hotter than the other 2.
Ill check the carbs when i get it home.
Am i right in thinking the ignition is split 1+4 and 2+3 and therefore if those 2 were running hotter it wouldnt be an ignition issue?

Thanks.

Its had lots of work!
Engine rebuild, hagon shocks, rebuilt wheels with stainless spokes and alloy rims and shed loads of new parts.
I have the origional parts too, havent decided whether to put it back stock or not yet though. I love it as it is, but cant take the wife out on it how it is now.

There is a small amount of flaking paint on the frame so next winter ill strip it and powder the frame.

Got a genuine honda fairing for it too (well, i think its genuine, has a honda badge and the fitting instructions are honda)

Hi, my name is Graeme, i have recently bought a 1976 cb750F1 cafe racer so thought i'd register.
Bike is pretty sorted but will no doubt throw up the odd issue now and then. Im a novice with these, and bikes in general really, not ridden since i was 78 (33 now).
Pretty handy with the spanners though so will be nice to have another play thing to tinker with.

Bike isnt at my place yet as i dont have my license yet :(

Passed my theory last tuesday though, have my CBT on sunday, then i can book my modules.
Should be fine, i used to ride alot, but this will be my first big bike.

Anyhow, thats me :)
