have asked,and received a replacement speedo bulb holder,thought it would be about an hurs job to fit,
was it hell !! I seem to have issues ,
when I turn on the lights,only the side light comes on,put it in park,the speedo and tacho ,with the rear light comes on,
indicators work perfectly,headlamp flasher works ,
I think a wire must have been switched !!,but I only have wiring diagram for USA model,no seperate light switch ,and no pilot bulb.
CAN ANYONE GIVE ME A LINK TO A 500/4 K1 UK model wiring diagram?
need to get sorted for sunday !!

John. We have a UK k1 wiring diagram here, I will email you over a copy.

What colour wires are coming from the speedo/tacho bulb holders.
green for earth ,and brown/white for power,
I need to know what pilot cable is ,also the power lead to the switch gear on RH handle bar ,maybe they got switched

job done ,I had accidently swopped a brown and blue wire with a brown wire .
will be going to Northleach this evening ,so that will check it out .
thanks to everyone that helped and supplied a UK wiring diagram,
the Haynes manual uses a US ne without side light,but it shows a UK headlamp in photos
