Post by: deltarider on September 12, 2018, 10:43:51 AM
Does any of you know what is the difference between the airfilter case* 17313-323-030 and 17313-323-040 mounted on the CB500 and CB500K1-2 resp.?
* CASE , AIR CLEANER ELEMENT SEAL in Honda speak.

Different manufacture, maybe  ;)

I've got both (apparently) and can't see a difference. I notice that the air filter element is also different. 17210-323-020 to 17210-323-030 for K1, K2. But presumably backwards compatible.

IIRC that has to do with that handy lip to remove the filter element.

Somebody told me (probably Bryan or Ash) that the last three digits changed for alternate suppliers (of the same part).
