Title: Why don't eBay sellers get a decent camera !
Post by: AshimotoK0 on January 30, 2016, 08:39:35 PM
Saw this not too far from me. The pics are dreadful. The seat, tank, wheels etc are all from a K2 not K0 and told the seller so  but he tells me a guy went to view it today and he said it's all correct for a '68 and I am wrong. Fk me I have three of them and spent the past 5 years scouring the planet for parts. Just hope if my son ever sells any of my treasures he gets his facts straight   :D

This is how it should look but even on this the handlebars and forks are wrong for a UK model bike:

Crappy cellphone pics are often used to mask the flaws of the merchandise...

That K0 (well SS model really never officially a K0) was a '68 model with  30BHP engine  equating  to 120 BHP/ litre. Not bad eh ! Sadly detuned in later models from late K2 onwards. The classic racer boys can't get enough of 'em, the cafe racer guys cant get enough of them in the States and they chose to use one in the 'Girl with the Dragon Tatoo' Hollywood film (Trailey in the book)  :) :)
