I'm sure it will divide opinion but I've always been a sucker for a Honda in Rothmans colours (re-did my CBR400RR in Rothmans colours a few years ago ) Anyway worth a look https://wesellclassicbikes.co.uk/bikes/836Peter

Anyone run a 12V usb outlet on their classic? I'm looking for an outlet but don't want a mounted one so will probably just tuck/secure it behind the headlight and also pick up feed/earth from headlight bowl. Can anyone recommend one from usage/experience. There are a lot to choose from TIA Peter

Can any of the knowledgeable Honda mechanics advise what the item marked is? I thought it was a spoke key but is named Bar/Handle and is waaaaay to big for the spokes.

Couldn't find a thread for this - Anybody planning on going?
I bought a 750 specially just so I could go!
You need to download and return an entry form if you are going.

My 500 starts and runs fine, Ticks over no problem, belts along 70, 80 + no problem but. Just lately started cutting out or stalling after slowing or stopping at a junction/roundabout whatever just as applying revs to pull away again. Bike restored after import by me last year, carbs off, ultrasonically cleaned, reassembled. New coils/leads/caps/plugs. Thoughts please. Peter

Weird one. Put a brand new battery on my 500 and when I press starter button the engine cranks but really slow and sounds like flat battery but as stated battery brand new/fully charged and also tried with another battery which I know is good so I'm eliminating the battery. Earthing is fine and also tried with jump wire from negative on battery to crankcase with same symptom.
Starts easy on the kick start so I'm eliminating mechanical resistance. Starts easy on button when warmed up.
So what causes it to crank so slow/hard? starter motor? something I can't think of.
Thanks, Peter

I know they are different part numbers but can anybody advise if the 500 starter solenoid is the same or more heavy duty than a 400 one. Or are they interchangeable? Voltage regulators, same question?
Thanks, Peter.

Good evening Lady and Gentlemen, I've been offered first dibs from a collection of a 750F3 in black. I've been on ride outs with the owner on it (him riding not me) and I think it's a solid bike, definitely a rider not a show'er. A price hasn't been discussed yet as it's not an imminent prospect.
Do any owners past and present have any for or against comments.
I actually prefer the earlier bikes (and those cornstars! Urgh!) but might consider ownership if it was worth it.
Thanks in advance, Peter
