Title: Cb550 bottom yoke clip

Can anybody tell me what the clip on the underside of the bottom yoke is for.

It is on the 400/4 but don't know on this one.

You can clearly see it on a bike on eBay without the cable in it
I would post a link but laptops just updated and now it wont do anything properly ::)
