Title: what year is my 500 engine?

can anyone tell me what year my 500 engine is? CB500E - 2008943.  i'm a site manager at a residential behavioural school and one of the kids is taking a keen interest in motorcycle mechanics, so it's going to be a bit of a school project.

And the good thing is, it has the modified head with the 4 rocker arm shafts and not 8. Cf. partslist CB500 as found here: http://www.honda4fun.com/materiale-documentazione-tecnica/parts-list/parts-list-cb500

Can do original Honda manual and psrts list on cd for postage as its a school project

And to answer the first question was built, or rather the bike it came from was built, in February 1972
