Title: Cost to date
Post by: Colonial-Clive (yindi) on April 17, 2017, 05:10:08 PM
Well it's finished! I say that with breath held as off for mot soon,

Cost of bike £1450 of the bay, receipts £1850 this includes total rebuild of engine and carbs, bits and pieces her indoors don't know about approx £350-400 so in total £3650ish not to mention the pleasure of being a member on here and all the help that you guys gave me on this project.
Mine and the bikes rehabilitation is now complete after some tricky surgery but we have both come through with flying colours.

Many thanks too all at the sohc Clive

Lovely bike - excellent build - but I have a soft spot for black 500's as I had a new one in 1972 (from Queens Park Motors in Manchester)
Don't think you'll have a problem with the MOT!

Thanks for putting it the right way up. Couldn't work out what I'd done wrong.
