Title: Clutch cable adjuster
Post by: llessur on June 10, 2018, 12:52:33 PM
Can anyone please point me towards a supplier of the M10 x 1.25 clutch cable adjuster that sits on the clutch casing. - been struggling with this for several months now to the point it has become one of the last jobs to get the bike finished.

Is yours missing or just not upto standard?  You don’t actually see the hex on the adjuster as it’s covered with a sleeve, only the nut is visible.  It’s not a difficult item to make on the lathe but I don’t have a 1.25 die, only the more normal 1.5.  A local engineering shop might help you - I can supply dimensions.  I would go stainless if I was making one but make sure you put copper slip or similar where it goes into the alloy cover.

Hi, maybe a very nice Aftermarket Stainless steel version from Kevin (TTR400).

Kind regards,

I got a stainless one from Phil Denton a few years ago. It was reasonably priced, even shipped to Oz.
