CB350/400 / Re: CB350F vs CB400F Carbs

Hi Ashley,

I understand your concerns about the difference between CB350 and CB400 carbs. The only difference is the size of the main jets.
You just have to change them for the correct size and try the set on your engine.  For the CB350 it says to set the air screws on 1 7/8 turns instead of 2 turns for the CB400.
The final tuning has tobe done using a vacume set (4) to synchronise the 4 carbs.
Just try this.
I have never heard any issues about changing the main jets and after wards problems occurred.

To all CB-fans,

Here is my post concerning rebuilt service for the CB carburettors  (CB350 / 400  ;  CB500 / 550   and CB750)
Over the last 5 years i have done about 300 sets now and sold many in the UK.  Also Scandinavia has some good customers and CB enthousiasts.
If you are planning to have your carb set rebuilt and look like new, please do not hesitate to contact me.   I am living in the Netherlands, so please be aware of the shipping costs for your set.  I usually work as follows:  send me pictures of your set, also the inside, this gives me a good impression of the condition of your set.  After that i can give you a rebuilt price in general, but it is possible that some parts have to be replaced afterall.  This will lead to an increase in price.  An increase will allways be discussed with the customer.

For new customers:  please look for threads in the forum and read the comments from customers that i already helped with carb services.

Here is my emailaddress that you can use:    gerbenhilly@hotmail.com

Glad to be of service,    Gerben van der Meer      Almere     Holland
