Hello, having to replace the fuel tap (due to a mission spout) I am looking for a replacement part.

The fuel tap is the same as the 500, early USA 550 and the 750. I have some old taps that have tubes if you require one. MP me your name and address and i will pop one in the post to you ;)

Many suppliers of complete taps on ebay, plus Dave Silver of course. Don't forget you need the fibre washers under the heads of retaining screws or fuel will always leak past to the carbs----generic ones don't do the job as they are too thin and split, Honda ones are damned expensive I have used 6mm Dowty washers with success in the past but they aint cheap either

The Honda size was 5.5mm ID but, it is no longer available. 5mm ish ID will do the job, Link >>> http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Nitrile-Rubber-Smooth-Fuel-Tube-Petrol-Diesel-Oil-Line-Hose-Pipe-Tubing-Breather-/130740225601?pt=LH_DefaultDomain_3&var=&hash=item1e70b98641

You will find it is 5.4mm, the same as in the link to Advanced fuel solutions ;)

Bought a 5.5 line.
1 meter should be enough I guess.
