Title: mph for rpm
Post by: kevski on July 12, 2017, 07:13:26 PM
Does anyone know what 50mph equates to in RPM for the 350four, i have a feeling my speedo is not showing the correct speed, i feel like the speedo is showing more than it feels like it's going,  unless it's just me not being used to such a tiny bike,

The easiest way is to find one of those speed awareness electronic signs you get when entering a village. They are accurate as you approach it, it will tell you your speed  ;)

My 750/4 (K2) produces 15mph per 1,000 rpm, the 500/4 12 mph per 1,000 and, from memory my 350/4 equated to 10 mph per 1,000 rpm.

Hope that this helps!

Pretty good flatfour, the US site quotes 9.83MPH/1000rpm for the 350. Non standard tyre dias will alter this slightly.
