Post by: MeilakJ on September 03, 2017, 10:08:20 PM
Hi All,

Have to share my latest project CB750 K6 US Specs . The colour is of a K5 (for the puirists !!) My latest was a Candy Antares red so thats why I went for this colour.

Loads of work from changing the cases due to chain breakage luckily found a a case of the same number range !! ,  new paint new wheels and biggest headache was until I got the carbs running right the engine with 836 Kit.

Thanks to all the input that you guys give on here as it was very helpfull!!

Yes that's a lovely shade of blue. And the bike looks stunning as well. Fantastic job.

Excellent colour, but what does the 'ladder' on the side of the engine do, hide broken fins?

I've not been to Malta for years, last time I was amazed how many 'classic' cars and busses there were in daily use, of course they never see road salt.

Lovely bike - watch all that sun doesn't fade the paint though! (not that I'm jealous or anything!)

Thanks for comments !!

Mr DAvo I like your comment about the ladder !! No there no broken fins. Its just a better way to make the engine look more shiny in the fin area , since it is difficult to mirror polish the fins.

Attached showing the fins better . Also with an orange tank and sides that I tried on it but I prefered the blue on it.
