At first it looks like a UK 750K0 but, it is a bitsa.
Wrong top end
wrong carbs
wrong switch gear
wrong front mudguard
wrong rear mudguard
wrong ignition switch
wrong tail light
And the list goes on but, the seller does state that : These early K0’s are a great investment and are rising significantly in price :o :o :o So be quick if you want a winter project and have at least 5K to throw at it ;)

So what about this one Trigger, at Stafford show auction this weekend.

UK original bike, that has been round the clock in need of some little weekend work ???
Has a 750K1 air box.
wrong colour.
Looks like garden hose as oil pipes.
Don't know why it has a bolt in the middle of the caliper.
Wrong exhaust clamps that look as they should be on a old english bike.
Needs a lot of parts that are no longer available and if you find them they will not be cheap, which would be the biggest challenge.
To sum up: Would need a shed load of money spent on it and someone who has a ton of experience with a early UK CB750's so, it needs to be cheap to start with ;)

Also no D washers ?

Cheers Trigger, I'll look out for something a bit simpler! Will be interesting to see if it reaches the guide price of 4 to 6K. I was thinking of bidding up to 3.7K whilst not really expecting to win.

It's been dropped and smashed the alternator cover too.
There's a significant repair along bottom of cover that looks welded/painted silver.

You will need a ton of money to even think of getting one of these up to scratch. To refurbish the clocks can set you back £900 these days, £250 for a alternator cover and if it has the very common chain damaged to the crank case it, can be a costly repair. And parts for these have more than doubled in the last couple of years.
I would like to see it about the £2K mark as, i know you can easy spend £8K restoring one of these and wait for upto 5 years for the correct parts to appear, if they ever do ;)

I will lay odds the bolt in caliper is because somebody never heard of greas to get a piston out and drilled and tapped to use a bolt

That’s a nice 350, needs a tidy but quite fancy. 😜

Quite fancy, doesn't mean you have to take it out for a candle light dinners and go for long windy walks ;)

Asking as I really dont know, whats teh difference in appearance tothe sandcast lumps and the run of the mill early 70's CB750?
That seems quite cheap from what I've seen either restored or unrestored so is there an issue with it visibly to some.
