Title: Carb sync tool hose length
Post by: AndyH on October 07, 2023, 11:35:11 AM
Just curious.....when syncing the carbs with a vacuum sync tool, do the 4 hoses need to be the same length?

Cheers
Andy

Dont think so, especially as Honda supplied 2 long and 2 short adaptors.
Probably not a good idea to have a vast difference

Thanks Brian.  Was just curious....my Raytech electronic sync tool does in fact have all 4 tubes the same length.

Cheers

The hoses are carrying pressure/vaccum so unless the hoses were overly long this would not affect the individual readings at the gauges though it might cause some slowing of response. As I understand it you are aiming for parity on the readings not an absolute figure.
