CB750 / Spark plug problems

Hi again everyone the problems have started as some of you may have noticed by my previous posts I have bought a 1971 CB750 K1 chopper and have been out in the garage tinkering getting it ready or so I thought to run anyway changed oil and filter, fitted battery, first problem the bike is a chopper and has no dash panel lights so I do not know if I have any ignition or not and it did not turn over, but the worst is to come I then decided to renew the spark plugs and number 2 just spins round and round so it looks like the head is going to have to come off, if anyone knows another way round the spark plug problem please advise many thanks Chris

CB750 / Push or pull throttle cable

Hi again everyone like I said the problems are starting the throttle appears to be the push and pull type but it only has one cable which has a very small bit of movement all the way to the carbs the cable is connected to the front of the throttle and I would imagine it is the pull cable ? would only having the one cable cause the throttle to appear locked? the cable that is connected goes to the back of the carbs and the other connects further forward so which one should I order is mine push or pull thanks Chris

Hi again everyone I am expecting delivery of my 1971 CB750K1 chopper this week it is an american import and I have just noticed that there are no front indicators fitted but rear are complete are the fronts needed to get through MOT this may sound stupid but this is my first Japanese bike my other is a British classic Triton cafe racer which has none at all and passes without problem many thanks Chris

Hi again everyone I joined last week because I have bought a 1971 CB 750 K1 chopper and am expecting delivery this week then you will probably get fed up with reading my posts, anyway before you do does anyone know where I can get a pair of forward controls for it, it has a bar with footrests on it already mounted which I will probably remove as it looks to be to high to make the rod extensions even better if someone has a used set from a similar model I would very much like to buy them many thanks Chris

Hi everyone I have joined because I have just bought a 1971 cb750k chopper imported from the states and I am taking delivery next week I also own a 1960 Triton for those who do not know that is a Norton featherbed frame running a pre unit Triumph Bonneville engine but it is giving me so much grief I had to get something for the summer the Honda is unregistered at the moment but with nova cert so if anyone has been through the process of first registration I would be grateful for any tips to speed it along. I am in Kent in the UK, that is about all I can say at the moment the problems will start next week thanks Chris
