Post by: DomP on April 27, 2024, 02:57:12 PM
https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/204061144662?mkcid=16&mkevt=1&mkrid=711-127632-2357-0&ssspo=-JvW0lVRTvK&sssrc=4429486&ssuid=Y0YDXM_4R0-&var=&widget_ver=artemis&media=COPY

Couldn't you cut a piece of 6mm alloy to shape, drill for the screw,

Make a gasket, and fit??

Or you could buy a sheet of carbon fibre, the sort that is used for models,

I thought it might need an insert with an oring to seal but you are probably right, certainly worth trying

Just leave the cable off but fit the drive housing, there is an oil seal in there

I don’t understand the sizing of that so don’t really know Dom, somebody with far superior marbles will probably be along shortly to tell you. It’s a bit dear at nearly 30 quid though.

This is similar to what I used and it’s a dead tight fit so not coming out, think I had to tap it in with a block of wood to get it in right but fits a treat for less than 10 bob(https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20240427/15059f4d5cfec1a3c4a0693ff73e932d.jpg)
