A "standard" electronic tacho will count 4 lt pulses for 1 crank revolotion, the honda coil will pulse twice for one crank revolution so readings may well be wrong, also with the dyna there is a different amount of "dwell" or coil charging time which may afect the tacho operation, i cant comment on that as i understand electrical dohickies but not elctronical ones

It used to be part of a Suzuki service schedule to swop the plugs 1 to 4 and 2 to 3 to even out the spark erosion wear

How long is a piece of string, it depends on level of thrashing and servicing

If its enough to spill out of the trough its enough, dont forget the starter is not spinning the engine at running speed and the faster the engine turns the more the pump works

That collar and bearing usually need a hydraulic press to remove and from memory there is a small cross section O ring between collar and bearing but its not shown in any books. Honda use to recommend changing shaft with bearing and the cost extra used to be negligable

Back in 76 as a young(er) rider i fitted a h4 unit and with lights on stayed 1 gear lower than in daylight, not forgetting in UK we can switch lights off
