Finally got around to insuring the green k1 :) But still can't MOT it.Bloody thing blew one of its new fork seals when I tide it down >:( Could the fork springs being on there limit have caused it? Progressive springs added to the shopping list anyway. I think I will ride it to the MOT next time.

Post by: Green1 on August 23, 2012, 07:09:06 PM: The fork tubes are in perfect condition.I'm sure the oil level was right but I did use ATF fluid instead of 10/30.

Post by: steff750 on August 23, 2012, 08:17:45 PM: ;) no worries i still use AFT oil always have ,you probably just popped the seal when you did tie it down i think i would put a new seal in be sure.a bit of topic the other week my friend dropped his CB1300 off the side stand done in the fairing bracket snapped the clutch lever, funny thing was the left hand side fork seal is leaking out oil ever since he has ordered new ones :o how bizarre is that

Finally worked out why the bike keeps blowing it's seal There both odd sizes ???
35 46 11 and the other is 35 48 11.So I skipped work and have finally managed to MOT her passed first time :) She pops and bangs occasionally at low speed so a bit of tinkering needed.Just need to register her now.
