Thank you all for your input, & answers to a few things asked: I checked both brake & tail filaments when off the bike (brake light was working normally anyway) Tail came on when ignition key turned to 2 Cables checked ok in HL housing Yesterday the headlight was working, today it wasn't, so I took off the fuse housing & cleaned thoroughly (was getting some odd readings on the tail one anyway), I sprayed lube into the ignition & light on/off switches & functioned them a few times, I then tried the lights again & hey presto, they both worked cheers Roy

Hopefully someone can point me in the right direction.......The tail light on my CB750 has stopped working, the light works as I've taken it off to check connections & tried it direct to a battery, I have continuity through the wiring (inc fuse & switches) I thought it must be an earth fault (most likely), but that's fine too!!
so now I'm stumped.......
cheers

Hi all,
couldn't find anything on the forum about K7 wheels, (so apologies if it is there somewhere....), so firstly, can I fit wheels from another model (i.e F2 or other)? & would it make any difference as the K7 has a 17" rear wheel (why??)?
reason is my wheels are not in great condition & rear, K7, wheels difficult (& expensive)to get hold of.......
cheers

Lifted the cam cover yesterday & first look the sprocket seemed shinier than the broken part, turned the engine & it looks ok....phew!! Probably something previously & been repaired! I was slightly hopeful, as same as you, I thought it wouldn't run well with a broken sprocket....but as I said, it was running nice... Good flush required methinks......... cheers guys

Found what looks to be a broken piece of sprocket in the sump pan, scoured the parts & workshop manuals but not easily identifiable (maybe cam sprocket??), however, bike runs/ran nicely when I got it with no unusual sounds - in fact, sounded very nice so maybe something from the past? Hopefully pics attached.......
help identifying it would be great, thanks

Hi, I have acquired a K7 which has been fitted with a double disc set up, unfortunately both are seized & as yet, not been able to get the pistons out!!!!
My question is (& not found on the forum anywhere), could I retro fit calipers easily from another model? (even a double piston unit....)
cheers
