I want to replace the gearbox bearings in my 750 .... but before I dive into the murky depths of the internet, can anyone recommend me a good supplier? I will be checking my bearings for sizings...and don;t want to pay premium rates for 'Honda' bagged bearings if they are commercially available sizes.
The only thing I am uncertain about is bearing quality. I want to buy from somewhere that only sells good quality bearings, and has a proper understanding of the use they will be put to.
All advice gratefully received!

Some of the bearings whilst being standard sizes have grooves in the outer cage that locate the shafts lateraly, you cant get these frome generic suppliers. Yamiya in Japan do all the bearings and seem to have a good rep.

At least one of the bearings (possibly more) can only be bought from Honda as an original / genuine part and not made by pattern bearing suppliers due to Honda still owning the rights to the part.

Like Steve W, I have always used Simply Bearings. They have a fantastic technical service. I orded a couple of bearings at 5:20pm on a Friday and they were delivered by 10am the next day via normal first class delivery.
As Julie and Bryan mention some of the bearings may be special Honda parts. When I was looking for a new crank bearing for the CB250RSA one of the bearings has a groove machined into it for locating with a half ring. This bearing is listed as a special Honda part by CMSNL at £85 and they were out of stock. I tried everywhere to get one eventually locating one in Turkey for £125! I called Simply Bearings and they matched up a OEM bearing of the same size with a snap ring for £22 Inc delivery! When it arrived all I had to do was remove the snap ring and replace it with the Honda half ring. The bearing was exactly the same dimensionally and in terms of quality as the Honda item it replaced.

Thanks guys.
Very helpful. I will get what I can from Simply Bearings....and then go shopping for the remainder.
I need to list up what I need, then grab some Hondabond and a seal kit...and I can put the bottom end of the motor back together once I have finsihed cleaning up the cases and give them a coat of paint.

It depends what your priorities are regarding the purchase, if getting them from an erudite suave and handsome supplier is important to you then that moves Trigger to the top of your list.

Strange, there must surely be two Triggers then?;D
