Saw one of these about year 2000 and had a run on it, quite impressive and looks lovely but never seen one since until here on eBay, seems to tick all the boxes?

Go for it, you've been without a bike for too long.
-
Parts tricky to get hold of ;)
-
I thought you wanted a CB750 K2?
-
I do Julie but my options are open till the right one becomes available at the right price if at all, I monitor Hondas on eBay regularly and that's how I came across the NC36, there's also one particular Suzuki T500 I like.
-
I had a T500 a million years ago, an absolute heap in blue. She was a bitch to start and the hotter she got the less inclined she was to start. She was also missing 2nd gear for some reason. Great fun to ride though.
-
Never seen an NC36 before, looks great, buy it 👍

Been trawling the internet and as Trigger states parts are difficult to get hold of and many negative posts from years ago regarding rust issues which I think were aimed at the exhausts, then for an extra grand one could possibly pick up a decent K6.
-
How about a 750 k4 coming up for auction at the Motorcycle Museum this Saturday, see https://www.handh.co.uk/buy/1974-honda-cb750-k4/14265
-
Yeah I'd seen that Watty, being fussy it's not the colour I prefer plus bidding on that type of auction is unknown territory for me, I'd be unsure.
-
My K2 should be ready in a couple of weeks...
-
Yes I'm looking forward to seeing the K2, should know where I stand after that.
-
A quick change in direction as I come across another non CB750 bike, a CB450 K5. Had to be quick on this one so after an afternoon weighing up the pros and cons I bought it. Looks good and it's the right colour in my opinion, red.
-
Well done. Do we get to see what you've bought?
-
No not yet Mike, the photos are crap and slightly out of focus. When the bike is delivered I'll take some decent photos and post.
-
This is how I got it, just given it a quick wipe down. Sorry about the size but I don't know how to reduce it?

Done it for you Ziggy
When linking to an external image, do it like this:
{img width=1000}http://your-photo-hosting-company.jpg{/img} Use square brackets!
A width of 1000 is good for most screens.

Or you could reduce the definition of your photo. Less megapixies = smaller photo.
Tidy looking bike is that.
