I don't have a 550 any more - you'll have to send me a photo of the logo.

My t-shirt printer has gone quiet. He wanted to clean up the jpg but I wanted it as it was (blemishes and all)

I'll get back to him.

Any interest if I order more than one - they're about

so SteveD could literally be sitting on a (small) fortune.

...but not necessarily a profit.

I seem to recall paying about $100 for it. He wouldn't ship internationally so Bob Wessner took delivery for me and shipped it over. Freight was another $70.

So it owes me just over

I looked at this guy's stuff when I was blogging about my copyright problems with zazzle. He left a comment on my blog.
His 500Four logo is a poor representation of the real thing though.

My 500/4 (in the avatar) had a Type 2 fairing.

It was mounted in front of the clocks with two bolts into a subframe that attached to the tank mounting lugs. You had to cut down the rubbers to fit them back on...

To each side was a very insubstantial "L" shaped bracket that bolted to the rear engine mounts.

Sorry but I don't have any pictures.

Steve

:) Mine's an old indicator lamp too.

I don't use a battery though Den, just the ignition on the bike.

WHAT CAUSES ARTHRITIS?

A drunk man who smelled like beer sat down in an underground train next to a priest.

The man's tie was stained, his face was plastered with red lipstick, and a half-empty bottle of gin was sticking out of his torn coat pocket. He opened his newspaper and began reading.

After a few minutes the man turned to the priest and asked, "Say Father, what causes arthritis?"

The priest replies, "My Son, it's caused by loose living, being with cheap, wicked women, too much alcohol, contempt for your fellow man, sleeping around with prostitutes and lack of a bath."

The drunk muttered in response, "Well, I'll be damned, " Then returned to his paper.

The priest, thinking about what he had said, nudged the man and apologized. "I'm very sorry. I didn't mean to come on so strong. How long have you had arthritis?"

The drunk answered, "I don't have it, Father. I was just reading here that the Pope does."

A 12 V light bulb and some wire is good for checking the exact opening point of the points.

Lamp on = points open
Lamp off = points closed

An essential part of my toolkit for the last 35 years!

K0 seat has 7x3 pattern, everything else is either later or a poor imitation.

This is a picture of the modern pattern seat that David Silver sells.

Check "Hondachrome" on eBay - he imports chrome bits from the USA.

What year is it?
K1 and K2 seats are quite easy to find (I have 2!) but the K0 seat is expensive if you want a real one and not a recovered example. You can get covers from about
