Another battery was delivered this morning this one for the Z750s. It came with the acid pack still to add. Naughty but at least you know it's brand new.

Back when CB radio was in it's infancy the better half's handle was "Chrystal Tips" due to the hair. The ML when she first heard it a look of shock and horror came across her face with the exclamation of " Chrystal Tits really" ;D ;D ;D ;D

Well my 750F battery has given up the ghost, nothing lasts these days but I was warned. When I bought the bike nearly 8 years ago the seller did
say " You might need to get a new battery soon." after I had bought the bike. Replaced with like for like Yuasa YB14-A2 Good old lead acid. It's a
pity there is no date on the old one to say how long it lasted.
Ordered Sunday night delivered Tues morning very well packed .Tanya batteries £60

Just a tip based on my experience with three similar compressors over the last 20 years  - don't carry this sort of device in your car for years as the screws shake out & they fall to bits.

Why would you carry it in your car it's 240v 1100w  At least look at the thing before condemning it,  I've just done my van tyres at over 4bar, car tyres and all the
bike tyres without any probs. Sub £20 3years warranty what do you want.

Yes I did initially not realize it would not work from a 12 v source - I thought it might work off both. I would probably carry such an item in the boot of my Jeep for convenience.
I have an outdoor socket at the front of the house so considered buying one as the price is attractive -  the list of 1 star reviews even discounting folk who thought it would operate an air tool was pretty pretty scathing.  I have learnt that 3 year warranties online are often  worthless again there seem to be issues with how Aldi fulfills the warranty - it would be nice if you could do instore returns.

I hope members here find they live up to their expectations or get a good one - time will tell. On the flipside I would never buy anytning if I took too much notice of poor reviews as they are often so subjective.
[/quot
Would you consider the fact people are far more people are likely to leave a review should an item be faulty 21/1 star  as against the item being  5 stars 110. I
wonder what the total # of units Aldi have sold.
I will try to refrain from bringing such items to peoples attention as it will make life a little easier. All you have done is condemn the item and Aldi without any
personal  experience of the actual product for some reason.
If and when mine goes fizzzz I will report back immediately.

For sub 20 quid if it gets me out the mire once, it'll be worth it.

And that's all it needs to do in reality.

I received a Aldi Ferrex compressor on Friday purely for doing tyres and I must say for £18 first impressions are very good If you were to add a small tank it
   would make it very versatile.
