CB750 / CB750k7 rear wheel spacers
« on: December 23, 2013, 10:01:19 AM »
Dont suppose anyone has some spare rear wheel spacers?  I have the one that fits on the outside of the sprocket carrier, and the one from the inside but I need the spacer that goes on the outside of the brake drum.

Seasons greetings to fellow SOHC freaks!

CB750 / CB750K7 Camshaft
« on: August 27, 2013, 07:54:09 PM »
Hi all, camshaft is buggered :'(  Does anyone know how specific I need to be about a replacement.  I found one on ebay US with carriers as one of mine has picked up - looks like oil starvation!

http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Honda-cb750f-cb750-honda-sohc-engine-cam-shaft-and-rockers-assembly-1971-to-1978-/281155598581?pt=Motorcycles_Parts_Accessories&hash=item41762df8f5

Would that do the trick?  Do we have to pay import duty on second hand bits?

Cheers, Jamie

CB750 / 750K7 Rear Wheel
« on: July 14, 2013, 11:29:08 AM »
Hi All, probably a stupid question but worth a punt.  Need a 17" back wheel for my K7.  Am I right in thinking the K7 was the only K that had a 17" back wheel?

Cheers, Jamie

CB750 / CB750k7 engine oil rings
« on: June 24, 2013, 09:47:11 AM »
Calling all engine builders!  Oil Rings are latest thing to keep me awake at night!  I need the oil ring/seal for the oil way tube, which is about an inch wide, in the crankcase.  Does anyone know what the part number is?  Also in the attached picture of the crankcases I need the two oil rings marked 22.  I have a feeling that they are 11x2.5 seals, and if im right that means I need 2 for the crankcases and two for the Barrels?

Has anyone any medical experience of how to help a 44 year old man with Honda obsessive/compulsive disorders  ;D???

Cheers to all!

CB750 / CB750K7 Wiring Loom
« on: June 11, 2013, 09:00:09 AM »
Hi All, does anyone know if there is a massive difference in the wiring looms across the K range?  I've found a new loom on Ebay.de -

http://cgi.ebay.de/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=230929835139&fromMakeTrack=true&ssPageName=VIP:watchlink:top:de

Anyone got any wisdom to share?  If anyone knows what the original part number for the K7 wiring loom that would be handy too.

CB750 / K7 Rear wheel needed, well the rim anyway
« on: March 27, 2013, 07:05:31 PM »
After being very pleased with myself for finding an immaculate complete front wheel for £60 last week I had a closer look at the rear today.  The rim has seem too many winters so ill need a wheel or a rebuild with new rim and spokes.

Anyone got any pearls of wisdom?

CB750 / CB750K7 Caliper Pistons
« on: March 27, 2013, 10:20:32 AM »
Ok, so we all know the K0-K6 has different calipers from the K7-F2 but has anyone had any luck sourcing caliper pistons for the later models?  Has anyone got any tips?  Have read posts about the Phenolic items turned to size across the pond and this sounds like a good option, especially with the extra heat resistance.

CB750 / 750k engines
« on: March 24, 2013, 07:09:21 PM »
Hi all  - im rebuilding an old K7 I bought in February and was wondering if there is any difference  between the K0 - K6 and K7 engines?  Many vendors list engine parts for all the K's except the K7?  For example -

Vintage Honda CB750K0 - K6 SOHC engine

Piston ring sets (4) @ Std size 61mm

Replaces 13011-300-024 ref only

NEW PARTS

So is there a difference?

Many thanks in advance for your replies!
