Title: Steering lock 76 F1?
Post by: jimshea on December 01, 2005, 12:48:44 PM
I read somewhere in my Haynes manual that there is a steering lock on the 750, I can not see one on my F1, did it have one originally? if so, where was it located?
Jim.

Found the steering lock, but the ignition and tank keys don't fit, is there a 3rd key just for the lock?

Useless isn't it, Ive never seen a key for this lock, in fact my lock has been drilled out by a PO.

The new ignition lock I fitted has the Lock bolt in it, but there is nowhere on the F for it to \"Lock\".

I'm going to get a welding friend to add a tab to the frame so it works.

My 500 has a lock which the seat key fits (never used it though)

My 550 has a lock and a wierd-shaped \"J\" key - never used that either.
