Hi

After a long time finally got round to fitting my Gordons style frame kit. I had someone I bought the engine from who owned his own engineering company to make up the parts to slot into the frame. Although he said he will not make anymore !!
hope you like the pictures .. Ill put some more on  as I get on with my cafe racer project

Looking for advance retard mechanism for a cb750 ,the bit with the springs and weights as well as the cam for the points.

Hi

Ive just got today the reg number from DVLA,i had to get a dating cert from Honda,get the bike insured on the frame number and get it insured on the frame number !! 
I built mine from parts frame/engine/tank all from other places VVVV expensive way of doing it though will never buy a frame without a V5 again Sooooooooo much expense and hassle.
Ive seen a frame on Ebay last night a frame for a F1 starting at £50 with V5

im sure there is some threads on here about this subject (one is mine im sure)

im not putting side panels back on ive taken another oil tank turned it around and cut the front(now back) off to make a cover for the electrics ,basically it will when finished look like it has two oil tanks with two dip sticks etc.
not everyones taste but wanted to do something different . I have a K5 in normal spec and wanted something different and not a clone of that one .

ill add more photos when done

Bought a new tank for my CB 750 F1 which im building, on Ebay   Item number:261217705242 
any ideas what the paint colour is ( i know its red before anyone tells me that ha ha )
I would love to find somewhere that sells it in a spray can so I can paint the side tanks (see my other listings )

any info would be great

been reading this and have similar problem the plugs are like a black  burnt biscuit wonder if anyone knows which way to turn the mixture screws to weaken off a touch ? it doesn't like running on choke at all so have to take it off as soon as it starts

after a CB750 F2 front plastic mud guard ? fitted F2 front end on my new project cafe racer SOHC but the front tyre/wheel wider so need a mud guard to fit the wider tyre etc

There is mention on here about wiring connections from points to loom close to brake
Switch ? I had same prob but I've fitted electronic ignition and had to solder connections in the end
