What !!! It was only a thought Rob ;) ;) ;)

It's all the other mods too. Cheaper if I had not gone the cheap route to put on the road and used OEM parts. Can't work out insurance company's!
-
A lot of mainstream insurers won't touch modified bikes, even a non standard paint job can get a refusal to cover. Try Peter James, formerly of Footman James, he is one of the few people the C90 club members found to insure bikes with Chinese clone engines (200cc version of Hondas 90 engine, that was one crazy bike!) so your mods will seem minor to him!

Thanks hairygit will try them
-
try these, tell them its a modded Classic,
I have been with them for a few years ,their service is good,

PS,they also sponser a team in WSBK supersport

Cia won't touch it as its over board!

I am learning that it don't pay to be honest if you mention rebore these company's don't want to know. I wonder how many motors are out there that the insurance is void as they have not told there insurer it's been bored out?
Beggars belief under writers that have no clue about mechanics!

I used a local insurance broker Frames Insurance in Broadstairs Kent.
He's used to dealing with modified bikes (harleys mainly) and he gave me a very good quote
phone number is 01843 609740

Too late to be of use, but I've insured a bored and stroked bike with both ebike and Carole Nash.
-
Totty I called carol nash and it was a big no from them unless I was existing customer and then it was a big IF!
-
They must have changed their stance on it, I'm currently with them for two bikes one is bored and stroked.
