anyone know about the gs450...
and suzuki numbering?
just general but an anorak would be great

If that is the twin, run a mile very quickly as its a gray import and parts are none existent unless identical to 500

well this is what im unsure about..
yeah its a twin but im 99% its a uk bike
first reg in march 1980
vin xxxxxxx and as suzuki started that run at 500049 it would be a very early one..if their numbering follows a logical route..
it was taken of off the road in 87 backed up with tax and mot history and stored its pretty standard ..
im just trying to work it all out and i have had nowt to do with suzukis since my ts50x and ts50er...
low miles too

That is a E01, we had them in the UK and most of Europe  ;)

oohh nice one ..i was even getting confused at the E.i.E.i.o numbers   theres dozens

I first saw one in Mayle's motorcycles in Bletchley around 1980, came with a nose cone fairing as a extra £££.

i think the nose cone fairing was the sport model..
 this from what i can tell is a gs450ET...pop a fairing on it made it an E S ..
honestly there are more varients on this bike than you can shake a stick at
