:)Hello All,
Finally decided to join the group despite my age and oncoming senility, at least that is my excuse for trying to rescue my yosi 460 after I left it in a damp outhouse for nearly 20 years, you should have seen the rusty chrome. I will probably need advice, and can maybe offer some, but one thing is certain, I definately have a mean engine, almost rust free. and at least the white powder surrendered to a blaster

Hello and welcome to the forum.
As for the senility, I think doing something like this is a good way to hold it off :)......so get stuck in and enjoy yourself.
Be good to see how you get on with a few pictures as you go, and it's also another SOHC to go back on the road, which can't be bad.

HI,
Will certainly keep you all up to date on progress, may be even some photos once I figure out how to reduce sizes using linux, best ahievement of late is the removal of a seized oil gallery plug below the points cover without damaging the thread-another add-on to the knowledge base

Install ImageMagick and use its mogrify command:
mogrify -path smallones -format jpg -resize 20% *.jpg
Scales all jpg files to 20% of their original size and places the results in the (sub)directory "smallones"
