Bought last January, was restored in about 2010 and is an absolutely fantastic machine. Far better build quality than RD / RG500. A long term keeper......unless someone makes a silly offer.

Have you ever had an RD500? I am thinking of restoring one of the big 1980's 2-strokes next winter but still unsure which to go for at the moment. I must admit I think I might miss the power of the 500.

No never had an RD500. The NS is fantastic build quality. Been told by former owner who has had NS, RD, RG that the NS is best with regard to quality. Great fun to ride.

Like that. Mate had one for sale when I was younger and really wanted it. Didn't want to part with my 350LC at the time, though.
Shame, as I blew it up a few days later. ::)
